Call for Phd Scholarships Applications


Politecnico Scholarships Applications di Milano is ranked as one of the leading European universities in Engineering, Architecture and Industrial Design, and in many disciplines regarded as a leading research institution in the world. Research at the Politecnico di Milano is therefore an international scope attached. Doing research at the Politecnico di Milano means to participate in research projects with international dimensions and has the opportunity involved in the global network of academic institutions and industry.

Within this framework, Politecnico welcomes foreign candidates for the doctoral program as well as visiting doctoral student company.

Please, consider that a particular context (in terms of the number of positions available, financial support, etc.) can vary between different doctoral program Politecnico di Milano. We therefore warmly encourage foreign candidates, in order to achieve information about the situation or particular admission requirements of the doctoral program they are interested, to contact the Coordinator of Doctoral Program, before submitting their application. Please, consider that candidates apply within the framework of a special international agreement between the Politecnico di Milano and foreign institutions must follow the acceptance procedures set forth in the Agreement.

All
Scholarships Applications candidates must have good English. Knowledge of Italian is not required at the time of application, but we expect them to learn it during their stay in Italy.

All documents presented may be in Italian or English. Official documents (certificates of citizenship, residence certificate, certificate of title, exams taken and given a sign), shall, if written in another language, must be accompanied by translations of Italian or English.http://www.callforpapersinfo.com

The
Scholarships Applications procedure described in the notice of application competitive examination and can be summarized as follows:



candidates with a university degree (five years of study after high school) may register by completing the application form


Evaluation of all candidates, nationally and internationally, will be based on:

curriculum vitae
letter of motivation for elective courses specific Phd
research project proposals in the field of specially selected courses Phd

Scholarships and financial support

There are two ways to enroll in the doctoral program: to get a scholarship or by paying a fee.

Scholarships are available for more than half of the doctoral program. Scholarships are awarded based on ranking of candidates based on the qualifying exam.

It is important to note that the doctoral program requires a mandatory meeting. Therefore, the candidate with the outside commitment of will find it very difficult to complete the doctoral program and get a Ph.D. degrees.

Please note that students (with or without a scholarship) to find further financial assistance in the form of research and teaching assistant. Usually, a doctoral candidate to participate in research activities the Department and can help teachers in teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level in particular subject areas. Students can obtain information on opportunities for further financial assistance by contacting the coordinator of the doctoral program before proceeding to register (this applies especially to students without scholarships or other financial assistance).
